Wait, 8-year-olds are killing one another?
Last Friday, I had the great honor of being a guest blogger for Project: AK-47, a non-profit that rescues child soldiers and sex slaves from Burma, Thailand, the Philippines, and Mexico.
If you were anything like me, hearing about an 8-year-old with a gun meant another kid playing a video game, however…these kids have never felt the safety of innocence. Their daily nightmare is as real as the chair you’re sitting on, and one that we can never imagine within the cush walls of our Western fortress.
